The Rosy Rosie stall will be at the Green Days Craft Fair held as part of the Bedford Park Festival, Saturday 8th June and Sunday 9th June. Phyllis Logan (Mrs Hughes, Downton Abbey) will open the Festival and there is so much to see and do for all the family.
We are part of the Craft Fair – 20 exhibitors offering ‘a wide selection of high-quality craftworks. This is a link to the list of exhibitors (including us!) and all their information….
But we are only part of the fun! At the heart of Green Days is the Bandstand, which is the focus for live music and many events. There is also a Funfair with rides, skittles, a coconut shy, beat-the-goalie and a children’s corner and there will be loads of other stalls selling plants, toys, books, bric-a-brac and more. This is the programme of events.
Aside from all the other activities children can take part in, or watch, the junior 5-a-Side Football tournaments, the Fancy Dress Parade and Bedford Park’s Got Talent. There is also a Treasure Hunt on Turnham Green Terrace in the run up to the Festival. Here’s the link to the children’s events.
Refreshments of course – a beer tent serving Fuller’s beer, Pimm’s, cider and soft drinks; a refreshment tent serving lunches, snacks, Fairtrade tea and coffee, delicious cakes, strawberries and cream teas; a barbecue with burgers and hot dogs; bacon butties, crêpes, international food, sweets and an ice cream van. So no chance of any member of the family going hungry then!
The Festival itself lasts for two weeks and there is so much going on – it really is a fabulous community event. They have a super comprehensive website with load of information www.bedfordparkfestival.org So take a look but please remember to down to the Green Days and say hello to us!
